06:42 pm - updates Hey family, I've been soooo busy with school its insane. This Friday I'm leaving at 1 to go on a field trip in cloquet (AGAIN). My professor said we'll get back at 6 at the latest, but probably sooner. I'm not really sure what we should do about this, because I will most likely be back in time for bob to pick me up and drive us to the airport, but not enough time to go home, get the car, and drive you myself. What do you think we should do?

03:05 pm - updates Hello family! I still can't find the scrubbies, so when I go to the grocery store this week I might just pick up one. I'm not sure if you check the weather around here, but after you left it got really cold and snowed again. We had one of the coldest days in April, which is really weird because we had one of the hottest days in March. Its warming up a little, but its still below freezing at night, and the highs are around the low 40s. It's predicted to snow again early this week. The snow isn't staying on the ground at all, but I'd LIKE it if it warmed up a bit.
When I came home today I found a dead mouse in the hallway, and all the traps are empty. It seems that our cats are better at it than anything else. All the animals are doing fine. I give the cats that special food once and a while, and let the bird out when I can. Maxine hasn't thrown up at all since you've been gone. Oh yeah, I went to Target the other day to pick up pills, and I bought the cats a new brush; they LOVE it.
I've been going to Bob's, but I'm still at home most of the time. The other night I made us some almond milk drink I got from an indian cookbook. I'm planning on going to the grocery store to get some supplies soon. I'm going to make Bombay Aloo (a potato starting dish), stuffed peppers, and mango lassi (to use up the yogurt). All of those are indian dishes, so we'll see how that all goes.

06:04 pm - to my sis and the 'rents I'll try to update once and a while so you know what sort of things are going on here at home. After we dropped you off from the airport, we ran over to that national wildlife refuge. They were going to close in 20 min, but we really just wanted to check the place out. We saw some wild turkeys, and their exhibits inside the visitor center. I'm glad we went there; it was a good time. Besides that, nothing new. Bob and I are going to move the stove into the garage tomorrow when he comes over. The bird was mad at me when I came home because we left him here for a day in the cage and I think he was punishing me for putting him in there. I THINK he was trying to dive-bomb me, but I wasn't sure.
I'm trying to do a little cleaning, but I can't find those scrubbies we bought ANYWHERE. I looked all over, and I'm getting really frustrated. So tess, if you see this first.. could you find out from the parents where they are?
That is all. Current Mood: scrubbies!!

08:53 am - noooooooooooooo This really sucks. RAIN!!! I've been working my butt off for 6 days, and on my first day off, rain. 70% chance pretty much all day. I was planning on going for a hike around on their trails, and maybe take some pictures, but that probably won't happen. I know some people were going to go swimming, so they won't be happy about this. Well, maybe I can just get started on studying, play some ds, read a little.. man...pooply. Maybe next weekend will be better. Current Mood: irony

08:21 pm - summer school...begin! I couldn't think of anything to do with the rest of my day, so I thought I would run to the computer lab. Typical. I told myself I wouldn't rely on these, but they're open 24/7... so... we'll see.
Many of you may already know that I am currently in Cloquet, MN, at the Cloquet Forestry Center for a 3 week, 4 credit summer school field session. wee! Apart from being in an extremely unknown (thus uncomfortable) place, it's been quite fun. Today we ate pizza, salad, grapes, and delicious cookies. The cooks asked us how many vegetarians there are. I think 4 others raised their hands, so I'm not all alone. We can walk up to the front of the line for food, because they make SPECIAL food for us! VIP service for the herbivores!
My two roomates are nice. They're both in the Fisheries and Wildlife program, so no help asking for help on homework. Though, I doubt these classes will be that difficult. I realized very early that this place could get very draining if I don't make some sort of friends. Luckily, there are a couple people I know in the Forstry program, so I should be fine. I think I forgot HOW to make friends, but maybe I'm just uncomfortable in this new place with all these strange college students.
I've talked to a few others with boyfriends, and we all pretty much feel the same way. 3 weeks away is longer than what we're used to. I keep hearing about people planning things for their weekend off, like camping with their boys, and it's getting me all jealous.
Anyway, I'm going to have to wake up at 6:00am tomorrow. I better start getting used to that. Current Mood: missin my boy

Dear Santa...
Dear Santa,
This year I've been busy!
Last month I committed genocide... Sorry about that, yoshimoto_muira (-5000 points). In September I gave change to a homeless guy (19 points). Last Tuesday I gave manowar82 a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points). Last Thursday I pushed mudge112 in the mud (-17 points). Last Saturday I gave mantid a kidney (1000 points).
Overall, I've been naughty (-4003 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!
Sincerely, chigun |

11:00 pm - I think that quiz was bullshit, but entertaining nonetheless
I think I said this quiz is bullshit because I am extremely critical of polls, especially when over the internet. This quiz is inherently doomed to fail given that it is online. Aside from that, I found my results to be mostly correct. I doubt many of the questions have any relevance though. You be the judge.

03:07 pm - HETEROSEXUAL QUESTIONNAIRE (©1972, Martin Rochlin, Ph.D.)
1. What do you think caused your heterosexuality?
2. When and how did you first decide you were a heterosexual?
3. Is it possible your heterosexuality is just a phase you may grow out of?
4. Could it be that your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?
5. If you’ve never slept with a person of the same sex, how can you be sure you wouldn’t prefer that?
6. To whom have you disclosed your heterosexual tendencies? How did they react?
7. Why do heterosexuals feel compelled to seduce others into their lifestyle?
8. Why do you insist on flaunting your heterosexuality? Can’t you just be what you are and keep it quiet?
9. Would you want your children to be heterosexual, knowing the problems they’d face?
10. A disproportionate majority of child molesters are heterosexual men. Do you consider it safe to expose children to heterosexual male teachers, pediatricians, priests, or scoutmasters?
11. With all the societal support for marriage, the divorce rate is spiraling. Why are there so few stable relationships among heterosexuals?
12. Why do heterosexuals place so much emphasis on sex?
13. Considering the menace of overpopulation, how could the human race survive if everyone were heterosexual?
14. Could you trust a heterosexual therapist to be objective? Don’t you fear s/he might be inclined to influence you in the direction of her/his own leanings?
15. Heterosexuals are notorious for assigning themselves and one another rigid, stereotyped sex roles. Why must you cling to such unhealthy role-playing?
16. With the sexually segregated living conditions of military life, isn’t heterosexuality incompatible with military service? 17. How can you enjoy an emotionally fulfilling experience with a person of the other sex when there are such vast differences between you? How can a man know what pleases a woman sexually or vice-versa? 18. Shouldn’t you ask your far-out straight cohorts, like skinheads and born-agains, to keep quiet? Wouldn’t that improve your image?
19. Why are heterosexuals so promiscuous?
20. Why do you attribute heterosexuality to so many famous lesbian and gay people? Is it to justify your own heterosexuality?
21. How can you hope to actualize your God-given homosexual potential if you limit yourself to exclusive, compulsive heterosexuality? 22. There seem to be very few happy heterosexuals. Techniques have been developed that might enable you to change if you really want to. After all, you never deliberately chose to be a heterosexual, did you? Have you considered aversion therapy or Heterosexuals Anonymous?

Squirrels are quick and cheerful animals who spend their time scurrying, scavenging, and playing. As a squirrel, you are often seen jumping happily from branch to branch up in the treetops. Squirrels are foragers searching for nuts and seeds, and they are social animals often seen chasing and playing with other squirrels.

12:56 pm On Sat. Justin couldn't work because he went to a wedding, and Michael couldn't find anyone to cover for him, so it was just Michael and I workin. It's really sad, too because he works way too much already, it was a Sat, AND it was Michael's birthday. It was a pretty slow day, but I did get to keep ALL the tips, which ended up around $14. If Justin and I had to split that, I'd call it a bad day. (though I like any tip money at all)
I started making an ash tray for Jessica. Looks good so far, I hope she likes it. I'm a little worried about finishing up all my work by the first critique. Ceramics is so HARD! All my other classes are going smoothly.
I think I made an... acquaintance in Economics. I almost said friend, but he's not my friend. He sits by me everyday in Econ. Now, I like to keep to myself usually, but at the same time.. I think it's kinda sad I have no real CNR (college of Natural Resources) friends. At the CNR barbecue, I was looking for a place to sit after picking up my food, and everyone was sitting with their friends. I sat down, alone, trying not to look bored or sad or anything. Mostly I felt awkward, though. That's what it was, awkward.
Changing subjects! On Sunday I went to the Ren Fest with Bob, Eric and Stephanie. It was a whole bunch of fun. We saw a new juggling group that had us laughing constantly, even though some other audience members didn't appreciate it as much as we did. We stopped at a few pottery places, and I bought a salt shaker at one of them (Its REALLY cool). We watched a juggling volleyball tournament during the festival's final hour. It's basically like real volleyball, but the ball is a juggling pin and not a ball. You hold 2 pins at all times. Instead of hitting the "ball" back and fourth, you have to catch the pin without dropping your other 2 pins. So, basically, if the pin comes to you, you have to juggle with it for any amount of time before passing it to a fellow teammate or to the other side of the net. It was MANY FUN!

05:03 pm I must update for my dear sister, for she is away at college.
Sooo what's new? I am enjoying my classes so far. Economics doesn't seem like it will be too much of a challenge, as long as I study well for tests and such. Gay Men and Homophobia in American Culture, or, Gay Men as I call it, seems ok. What I mean is, I have no idea if this is going to be hard. There is a LOT of reading though. My American Democracy class will be fairly easy, and I have Bob to help. Ceramics is going to be soooo time consuming. We have to make 5 pieces for each critique (there are 4 of them) AS WELL AS 5 bowls and 5 cups. We also have to take into account the ones that look crappy, or break, so we should make extra pieces as well. I'll end up with at least 50 things to bring home. I'll have christmas presents at least. Oh yeah, and for the final we have to make a set of something. I'm going to make a sake set for Bob and myself. (I hope I like sake)
Bob's dad is going to sell/give away the chickens. We will miss Cow, Tim, Mephistopheles, Zelda, Remmington, and Ferguson greatly. Especially Mephistopheles. I also bought an iAudio x5l. Check it out here. http://www.cowonamerica.com/products/iaudio/x5/ jealous?
Oh, Tess I'm totally buying you the keeper. I heart it ex10.
I'm outtie 5,000. Chow! Current Mood: weeeee! Current Music: SILENCE!
